#5, Super Bowl XIII: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. the Dallas Cowboys, 66 combined points
The Steelers and Cowboys combined for a 26-6 record in the regular season and put on a show in the Super Bowl. The Steelers win a high-octane game 35-31 with Terry Bradshaw named MVP.
Bradshaw and Roger Staubach threw for a combined seven touchdowns and 546 yards in a game that definitely entertained the crowd.
#4, Super Bowl XXVII: Dallas Cowboys vs. the Buffalo Bills, 69 combined points
One of the Cowboys’ greatest ever days as they hung 52 on the Buffalo Bills to record their first Super Bowl win in 15 years. Buffalo also became the first team to lose three consecutive Super Bowls as well (with that run eventually reaching four). Yikes.
Dallas legend Troy Aikman was the MVP, throwing for 273 yards and four touchdowns while only having eight incompletions. Michael Irvin (114 yards, two touchdowns) and Emmitt Smith (108 rushing yards, one touchdown) also played their roles in the huge win.
#3, Super Bowl XXXVII: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. the Oakland Raiders, 69 combined points
Perhaps Jon Gruden's finest hour, but for Raiders quarterback Rich Gannon, not his finest. He threw five interceptions in the 48-21 loss.
Buccaneers running back Michael Pittman led the waywith 124 yards from 29 carries. The game is largely remembered for Gannon's five interceptions. The Bucs returned three for touchdowns, with two by Dwight Smith and one by legendary linebacker Derrick Brooks.
#2, Super Bowl LII, New England Patriots vs. Philadelphia Eagles, 74 combined points
Nick Foles' finest hour as he hung a 40-burger on Bill Belichick's Patriots defense. He threw for 373 yards and three touchdowns while Tom Brady threw for 505 yards and three touchdowns as Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman and Chris Hogan all had over 100 yards receiving.
The 41-33 win was a big moment for Eagles fans and will be remembered for that famous "Philly Special" play near the end of the first half. What a game.
#1, Super Bowl XXIX: San Francisco 49ers vs. the San Diego Chargers, 75 combined points
The 49ers became the first franchise to win five Super Bowls in the 49-26 win over the Chargers as Steve Young won the MVP award.
Young threw for an astonishing six touchdowns and 325 yards, while receiver Jerry Rice had himself a day, catching 10 passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns as the 49ers blew the Chargers off the field.
