On Monday, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes announced that his wife Brittany Mahomes had delivered the couple's second child.
In a post on social media, the former NFL MVP shared a picture of his newborn son resting on a custom blanket that had Mahomes written on it along with a diamond chain bearing his newborn son's name. Mahomes captioned the post:
"Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III 🤴🏽11/28/22 7lbs 8oz 🤍"
Mahomes, like his father Patrick, named his eldest son Patrick as well. But the Kansas City Chiefs superstar's newborn child will be called Bronze.

Bronze Mahomes is Patrick's second child. The couple announced in September 2020 that they were expecting their first child.
Brittany delivered their first child, daughter Sterling Skye, on February 20th, 2021, 13 days after Mahomes and the Chiefs lost 31-9 in the Super Bowl against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She announced the news on Instagram.
On March 12th, 2022, the couple finally got hitched after 10 years of dating.
Three months later, the couple announced that they were expecting their second child.
In June, Brittany and Patrick Mahomes, along with friends and family, had a gender reveal party. The couple shared a video on their social media accounts and revealed that they were expecting a boy, much to the delight of Patrick, who jumped into the swimming pool in the couple's backyard after the reveal.
