Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes has become a father for the second time!
The quarterback announced on Instagram that his wife, Brittany Mahomes gave birth to the couple's second child on Monday. Mahomes also revealed the baby's name in the post. He captioned it:
"Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 11/28/22 7lbs 8oz"
Mahomes shared a photo of the baby. He hid his newborn son's face in the post but showcased him in a onesie. The baby was resting on a cushion bearing the name "Mahomes." The photo also had a diamond chain that read "Bronze."

The news of Brittany delivering the couple's second child comes only a day after it was reported that she went into labor during the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Los Angeles Rams. She quashed the reports on social media.
However, just a day after denying that she went into labor during her husband's game at Arrowhead Stadium, Brittany became a mother for the second time. The couple also has a one-year-old daughter Sterling Skye, who was born in 2021.
It's been a terrific couple of days for Patrick Mahomes. Before becoming a father for the second time on Monday, the quarterback led the Chiefs to a 26-10 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Mahomes threw for 320 yards and rushed for 36 yards while also throwing one touchdown pass as the Chiefs improved to 9-2.
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will take on the Cincinnati Bengals in a rematch of the AFC Championship Game on Sunday. While revenge for that loss will be on Mahomes' mind, it's unlikely he'll focus on anything apart from Bronze and Brittany for the next couple of days.
Leading the Chiefs' charge to another Super Bowl could wait a few days, and the team wouldn't mind their superstar quarterback taking an extra day off to be by his wife and newborn son's side.
