The Pat McAfee Show is one of the most popular shows in the world of sports media and quarterback Aaron Rodgers' recent appearance helped immensely.

McAfee signed a four-year, $120 million deal with FanDuel back in December 2021, and having the four-time NFL MVP has been good for business.

Rodgers came onto the show to discuss his NFL future, confirming what many fans have known for some time. The 39-year-old stated his desire to play for the Jets come the 2023 season, and was watched by 485,000 viewers:

“Since Friday I made it clear that my intention was to play and my intention was to play for the New York Jets.
"I haven’t been holding anything up at this point it’s been compensation that the Packers are trying to get for me, kind of digging their heels in, I think it is interesting at this point to step back and look at the whole picture.
“I still have that fire and I want to play and I would like to play in New York, it’s just a matter of getting that done at this point."

Aaron Rodgers all but signaled the end of his illustrious career with the Green Bay Packers as he's on his way to the New York Jets.

Interestingly, Pat McAfee could be on the move soon as well.

Is Pat McAfee walking out on his FanDuel deal?

As stated by the New York Post, McAfee may walk away from that $120 million-plus endorsement deal with FanDuel. He is in the second year of the deal, which gives him over $30 million per year. The Super Bowl-winner has had a fast ascension to sports media success by doing it his way.

After retiring from the NFL, McAfee joined Barstool Sports before leaving Barstool to make it out on his own. Walking away from a massive deal with FanDuel could be risky, but other opportunities could be on the horizon.

According to sources, Pat McAfee has reportedly had conversations with other companies, including Amazon. Another possible landing spot could be Google/YouTube, which just did a hug deal for “NFL Sunday Ticket.”

Apple and McAfee don't feel like an ideal match, but they're not completely out of the picture. We'll see if McAfee does exit his FanDuel deal or if he'll stay on board.
