After several weeks, Philadelphia Eagles fans have received a promising update on Dallas Goedert. The Eagles are set to host the Washington Commanders in Thursday Night Football in Week 11, keen to stay atop the NFC East.

To do so, they will have Goedert back in the lineup again. Following his absence in Weeks 7, 8 and 9 of the 2024 NFL season, Goedert returned to the field against the Cowboys in Week 10.

After being a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Goedert isn't on the Eagles injury report, so he's expected to play tonight.

Dallas Goedert injury update: What happened to Eagles star TE?

On Oct. 13, Dallas Goedert was forced to exit the Cleveland Browns duel after hurting his hamstring. The tight end missed the next three weeks and only returned on Sunday, catching two passes on three targets for 25 yards and finding the end zone.

Goedert has had a remarkable 2024 season, tallying 26 catches on 32 targets for 326 yards in six matchups.

Besides Goedert, Jordan Mailata (hamstring), Bryce Huff (wrist), Nakobe Dean (groin) and Darius Slay (ankle) were full participants in Wednesday's practice session. That said, DeVonta Smith (hamstring) was limited, putting a question mark on his availability for this game.

The Philadelphia Eagles are 7-2 after 10 weeks of competition and are coming off a huge win against divisional rivals Dallas Cowboys. Jalen Hurts went off with two passing and two rushing touchdowns and 202 passing yards and 56 rushing yards, taking his squad to a 34-6 victory to establish themselves as leaders of the NFC East.

The Commanders, meanwhile, lost a hard-fought game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, opening the door for the Eagles to surpass them in the standings. A win tonight will put any of these teams in a privileged position for the second half of the season.
