Keenan Allen has been hampered by a heel issue since training camp. The Chicago Bears wide receiver missed all of the week's practice due to the injury, which may have an impact on his availability for the team's Week 2 game.
The Bears are scheduled to face off against the Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football today. Let's find out below if Keenan Allen can get fit enough to play the game.

Is Keenan Allen playing today?
Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze suffered injuries last week that negatively impacted the Chicago Bears' newly revamped wide receiver corps.
On Friday, though, fans were given cause for hope when Allen was labeled as questionable for the Week 2 matchup with the Houston Texans. Moreover, coach Matt Eberflus has said that they will evaluate the receiver at game time.
Despite Allen missing practice on Friday for the third consecutive day due to a heel ailment, the team hasn't yet declared him out of the Sunday Night Football game.
Keenan Allen first injured his heel just before the 2024 preseason ended but played for the Bears in their Week 1 win over the Tennessee Titans. He played most of the offensive plays for the team that day, hauling in four receptions for 29 yards off 11 targets.
The 32-year-old receiver played the full season-opening game last week but appeared to have aggravated his heel issue late on, spending a short time in the medical tent.
When asked on Friday by reporters if Allen and Odunze would be able to play on Sunday in Houston, Eberflus replied:
"We're going to take it all the way up to the game to see if they can go.”
Allen's heel problem has persisted since training camp, according to Eberflus, and they are just hoping that he will recover this week.
"It was just something that happened in training camp with the heel," said Eberflus. "That was really it, so it's just been progressing, then it took a step back, then we just wanted to give it some rest.
"That's really what the idea of this week was — just to rest and let it heal and let it feel good, so we're able to move and cut and do the things he does."
Keenan Allen's availability status is probably going to remain a mystery until 90 minutes before the Texans vs Bears game, when the inactives are declared.
The veteran wide receiver has little chance of participating tonight, though, given that he didn't practice during the week.
