Malik Nabers and the New York Giants will play their 2024 regular season opener against the Minnesota Vikings today at MetLife Stadium. The Giants were busy this summer after a disappointing 6-11 2023 campaign. Nabers headlined their offseason, with the talented former LSU receiver arriving in the draft to much fanfare.
Is Malik Nabers playing today?
The New York Giants released their final Week 1 injury report on Friday ahead of their season opener, and Malik Nabers was not on it. This indicates that the rookie receiver will be available for selection against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. As the WR1 in NY, Nabers will play a big role in the team's offense as the Giants look to get off to a strong start.

Though Nabers only played extensively in one preseason game this year, he demonstrated why the franchise selected him with the sixth-overall pick. Nabers registered four catches for 54 yards against the Houston Texans and looked very promising.

With Nabers and other key players fit to play today, the Giants don't have any serious injuries, so it's all hands on deck against the Vikings. The game is scheduled to kick off on Sunday at 1:05 p.m. ET.
Malik Nabers' projected fantasy points for Week 1
Malik Nabers has the opportunity to truly shine today when he plays against the Minnesota Vikings in his NFL debut.
The Vikings finished 29th in the league in terms of fantasy points allowed to wide receivers last season. Although the team added five-time Pro Bowler Stefon Gilmore to strengthen their secondary over the offseason, the bulk of that issue is still expected to persist this season.
QB Daniel Jones will target Nabers frequently this season, and fantasy managers will have an opportunity to see a preview of that today. Nabers should be able to put up strong numbers against the Vikings and, ideally, for the remainder of the season with that frequency.
Nabers is predicted to return 13.4 points (PPR) against the Vikings to begin the season, according to Sportskeeda’s free 'Who Should I Start' tool.
