Rome Odunze has been the talk of the town for the Chicago Bears heading into their Week 2 game against the Houston Texans on Sunday. Odunze is nursing a knee injury and fans want to know whether the wideout will recover in time to play against the Texans.
Is Rome Odunze playing today vs. Texans?

As things stand, Rome Odunze is questionable to play against the Texans on Sunday night. The receiver did not participate in Chicago's practice on Wednesday and Thursday but he was a limited participant on Friday.

Earlier this week, Bears coach Matt Eberflus said Odunze was “day to day” as the rookie is on the mend from a sprained MCL in his left knee.
Odunze injured his knee late in Chicago's 24-17 Week 1 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. He exited the game in the fourth quarter while blocking on a Velus Jones Jr. catch when two Titans defenders tackled Jones into Odunze.
While there were concerns that Odunze might be sidelined for a while, Eberflus confirmed that the player was fortunate to avoid a serious injury.
“When you have somebody fall on your leg like that and you have that type of deal, it’s always fortunate that it’s not that serious,” Eberflus said. “Very lucky that way, very fortunate.”
The Bears drafted Odunze with the No. 9 pick earlier this year. He made one catch for 11 yards on his NFL debut against the Titans.
