Jim Nantz has been one of the most sought-after sports commentators in the USA. The iconic broadcaster has been working on telecasts for the NFL, NBA, and PGA Tour for CBS Sports since the 1980s.

Nantz has also been the lead play-by-play announcer on CBS' NFL coverage since 2004. Having worked as a broadcaster at the top level for more than 40 years, he has accumulated a small fortune.

As per reports from Celebrity Net Worth, Nantz is worth a whopping $15 million as of January 2023. He reportedly makes around $5 million per year on his current deal with CBS. Moreover, Nantz co-owns a wine company called 'The Calling', which he launched in 2012.

Nantz attended the University of Houston in Texas. He majored in radio and broadcasting while also playing on the Houston Cougars men's golf team.

He initially began working with the CBS Radio Network after graduating. Nantz quickly moved up the ladder and became a permanent fixture for CBS when he worked as an anchor and sportscaster for KSL TV in Salt Lake City.

The commentator has also received the NSSA's National Sportscaster of the Year award five times (1998, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009). Nantz worked as a broadcaster for the Super Bowl in 2019 and 2021.

Nantz will partner Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson for the AFC divisional round game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals later on Sunday.

Jim Nantz has been married twice. His first marriage to Ann-Lorraine Carlsen lasted for 26 years before they divorced in 2009. Jim and Ann have a daughter together named Caroline.

Nantz married his current wife, Courtney Richards, on June 9, 2012. The couple lives in Nashville with their son and daughter.
