Joe Burrow wasn't happy with his NFL Combine analysis

Joe Burrow has transformed himself into one of the top quarterbacks in the league in just three seasons in the NFL, and he is on his way to a tremendous career. His playstyle and poise have drawn comparisons to Joe Montana and Tom Brady, two of the finest quarterbacks in history.

However, the story wasn't always the same for Burrow, as he was heavily doubted by many coming out of the NFL Combine. His hand size was questioned to which Burrow had a witty response.

Here's what Burrow said after the 2020 NFL Combine:

"Considering retirement after I was informed the football will be slipping out of my tiny hands. Please keep me in your thoughts."

The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback's hand size was officially measured at 9 inches. His hands were among the tiniest for a quarterback in the league. Despite the adversity, Burrow has been able to achieve success in the NFL.

Joe Burrow and the Bengals are Super Bowl contenders every season, which demonstrates how good of a quarterback and team they have at their disposal.

After being drafted with the first overall pick, Joe Burrow had an underwhelming rookie season in the NFL as he suffered an ACL injury and many began doubting whether he would be able to emulate his success with LSU in the NFL.

The Bengals went out and drafted Ja'Marr Chase to pair with Burrow in his sophomore year, and it changed everything for them. Burrow and Chase are probably the best QB-WR tandem in the league, and the Bengals reached the Super Bowl in Burrow's second season. They came close to defeating the Los Angeles Rams but unfortunately, ended up losing.

In his third season in the league, Burrow was an MVP candidate and came very close to taking his team to back-to-back Super Bowls. However, the Kansas City Chiefs had other ideas as Patrick Mahomes and co. finally got the better of them.

This is only the beginning for Burrow and the Bengals, who will be an AFC powerhouse for years to come and might win a Super Bowl shortly, which will silence many more critics of their quarterback.
