The Lions head into Week 6 on the back of a bye week. They are on a two-game win streak, having beaten the Arizona Cardinals 20-13 in Week 3 and the Seattle Seahawks 42-29 in Week 4. Meanwhile, the Cowboys put an end to their three-game losing run with a 20-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5.

The Lions have looked solid on offense and defense this season. Their only defeat came in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Detroit quarterback Jared Goff has led the offense expertly as he has racked up 1,089 yards on 88 passes with five touchdowns.

However, the Lions are considered the favorites to beat the Cowboys because of their defense which has allowed only nine touchdowns this season. On the other hand, Dallas' defense has conceded 14 touchdowns in five games.

Since Detroit has a more well-rounded team, we predict Goff and co. to get the better of the Cowboys.
