"An eye-rolling, snarky quarterback" - Colin Cowherd puts Aaron Rodgers' histrionics on blast after loss vs Commanders

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has quickly fallen from a 3-1 start to a 3-4 mid-season record. Fans are starting to panic about their team and Colin Cowherd offered no words of encouragement while speaking on The Herd with Colin Cowherd.

He started by outlining the team's struggles on paper before looking at the quarterback's personality mismatch with his wide receivers:

"So I look at the box score after games and I'm not sure what Green Bay does well. 16 1st downs, 0-6 on third down, 38 yards rushing, nine penalties. Never had the [lead in] time of possession. I don't know what they do well."

He went on, explaining why he bets against them "every week":

"It's why I keep betting against them every week. Through three quarters, Allen Lazard was the only receiver with a catch. Yes, it's bad, but it's also totally, utterly predictable. The two primary issues both relate to Aaron and this young wide receiver group."

He went on, claiming the quarterback's personality was not fit for the young team:

"We said this before the season, they need a trusting, patient, mentoring Green Bay quarterback, not an eye rolling, cool, and snarky quarterback... I picked them to finish second in their division [because] I don't [believe in] Aaron, [a] single guy getting close to 40 [who] struggles with his own family... He's not built for this group. It's not [a] personality fit."

Aaron Rodgers' production in 2022

In 2022, the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers has been nothing but consistent on paper, especially in the touchdown department. In five games this year, the quarterback has thrown for two touchdowns. Whether the team wins or loses, the quarterback's production through the air has been roughly the same.

In terms of yards, his production has been incredibly predictable, throwing for anywhere between 194 and 255 yards per game. Most would agree that this means the offense is not dynamic in games and most agree that it will need to learn this ability next week.

In Week 8, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers will face the Buffalo Bills and many feel that two touchdowns from Aaron Rodgers would seal the team's fate and drop them to 3-5. Will the Packers finally get the ball rolling or have they run out of juice?
