Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers' season came to an end in a disappointing manner with a 16-20 loss to the Detroit Lions. It was basically a knockout game for them, and due to the loss, they didn't qualify for the playoffs.

Rodgers was quite confident about this game against the Lions and believed his team would be able to get the job done. But that wasn't the case as the team from Detroit stepped up and spoiled the Packers' season.

Following the win over the Packers, the Lions didn't shy away from firing shots at their division rivals. They uploaded the video above to their TikTok account and trolled Rodgers.

"We kept the receipts."

The Detroit Lions have won both games against the Green Bay Packers this season, and that is a remarkable achievement on their part. Aaron Rodgers has 'owned' the NFC North since he stepped into the league, but this time around, the Lions got the better of him and sent him home.

The Lions finished the season with a record of 9-8, and things are looking positive for Motor City. They have a big offseason ahead, and with their offense clicking, a couple of moves for their defense could make them a very dangerous team next season.

Aaron Rodgers provides an update on his future in Green Bay

Many believe that this game against the Lions was the last ever game for Aaron Rodgers as a Packer. He looked quite emotional going off the field with Randal Cobb. Here's what he said after the game about his future:

"I mean, it's a little raw right now, you know, it's just a little bit after the game. So want to take the emotion out of it? And have conversations and see where the organization's at and see how I feel after some time has passed."

Speaking about when he will reveal his decision, Rodgers added:

"I mean, I'm not going to hold them, hostage. You know, I understand. You know, we're still in January here. March is for free agency. So just need some time to? Like I said, get the emotion out of it, and then figure out what's best."

Jordan Love is eagerly waiting for his opportunity as the Packers quarterback. If it was Rodgers' last outing in Green Bay, it truly has been a disappointing end of tenure for one of the all-time great players.
