Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers recently indicated that Week 18's game against the Detroit Lions could be his last ever game at Lambeau Field. This has sent the NFL world into a frenzy as continuous rumors' about Rodgers' exit from Green Bay continue to prevail.

Nick Wright thinks that Rodgers knows he will not be a Packer after this season, and has already prepared for it. He thinks that the Packers could trade him once the season is over.

Here's what Nick Wright said about Rodgers and the Packers on "First Things First:"

"Aaron all of a sudden, ominously talking about like, we'll decide, it's been great playing at Lambeau almost in the past tense, to me, absolutely opened the door coach, that this will be Aaron Rodgers’ last season with the Packers.
"That they will be trading him that they will be moving on to Jordan love, which is the exact timeline that the Rogers Favre thing happened three years after dropping the guy in the first round.
"He still wanted to play, you are ready to move on. It shouldn't it's not a shocking, crazy idea. And it seems like Aaron thinks it's on the board."

The Green Bay Packers replaced Brett Favre with Aaron Rodgers after Rodgers served as a backup for three years. Jordan Love has been Rodgers' backup for three seasons now and it might be time for the franchise to make the move.

Jordan Love did look good during his cameo against the Philadelphia Eagles, and he might be the next great quarterback in Green Bay.

Aaron Rodgers needs to turn the clock back on Sunday

If it is the last game for Aaron Rodgers at Lambeau Field, the reigning NFL MVP will have to put on a show against the Detroit Lions. With a win, the Packers will qualify for the playoffs and it would be a great achievement considering how their season looked in early December.

However, we have seen Rodgers bluffing about his future multiple times. Many thought that the loss to the San Francisco 49ers in last season's Divisional round would be the last game for Rodgers as a Packer. However, he signed a new deal in the summer and continues to play for them.

While nobody is certain whether or not Rodgers will return to Green Bay next season, the game on Sunday will definitely be a treat to watch.
