Aaron Rodgers was booed on Thursday Night Football and the quarterback had a response to his upset fans. When asked about the easily audible boos on the broadcast, the quarterback gave a one-word response that could stoke frustrations even further.

During the post-game conference, Rodgers looked down, searching internally for a response and put it this way:

"Interesting, that's the best I can give you."

The response was ambiguous but seemed to position the quarterback in a defensive stance. That said, he didn't elaborate or go any further. His facial expression was equally perplexing, as he didn't appear to be upset about the idea or otherwise fazed. In other words, it was the same as most other questions. Gleam from it what you will.

Of course, this wasn't just another quarterback on the podium. Over the last 15 years, Aaron Rodgers has been a name statistically associated with great production in the win sheet as well as in his personal statistics. This has led many to be troubled over the state of the Packers organization as they are not performing this season.

Aaron Rodgers' quandary with the Packers slumping in the 2022 NFL season

At 4-7, Green Bay trail the Minnesota Vikings by four games and a tie breaker. The Packers would basically need to win every remaining game on their schedule and get some help from the Vikings to steal the division. Based on the NFL's playoff picture, the Packers are currently 11th in the NFC.

They need to jump four spots to get the last wild card spot. At 5-4, the San Francisco 49ers currently have that spot. Green Bay need to make up some ground quickly, and this is more likely than the roughly five-game difference with Minnesota.

Rodgers will need to go on a MVP-worthy run to get into the postseason and a then a run once they're there. At this point, Aaron Rodgers cannot suffer another loss, let alone a string of losses similar to the five-game slide they experienced earlier in the season.

Can the Packers save their season? We will find out in the coming weeks.
