NFL Combine
Quarterback Anthony Richardson of Florida at the NFL Combine

The NFL has never seen a quarterback like Anthony Richardson, and we can't even play around.

The Florida gator is built like a cross between a linebacker and a halfback. He throws with the velocity of a rocket, and his vertical jump is in a whole different league. Coming into the NFL Combine, many people marveled at his physical gifts of Richardson, but interestingly, his performances blew their expectations out of the ballpark.

Richardson is projected to be selected as a lottery pick in the 2023 NFL draft, and after that performance on Saturday (March 4), some people have him going at number one. Like they say, you cannot teach size, and players like Richardson come once in a generation. He might be a project, but he's a project that's worth undertaking.

Anthony Richardson's NFL Combine measurements

Richardson measured 6' 4" and weighed 244 pounds this week at the combine. He also ran the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds (second among quarterbacks).
