Antonio Brown set to feature at music festival alongside Lil Wayne and Travis Scott

In a parallel universe, with the NFL offseason ongoing, we would have been talking about Antonio Brown playing for a team that needed an elite wide receiver. Instead, he seems to be done with the NFL.

His behavior on the field when he walked out mid-game while playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the New York Jets in the 2021 season seems to have drawn the curtains on his professional football career.

He has since resurrected himself as a rap artist, helped by his association with controversial entertainment personality Kanye West. Going by his initials AB, Brown has been trying to make his mark in the music industry.

While the football industry seems unwilling to pick up his tab anymore, he now has a chance to make his name in the entertainment business. AB will be a performer in the "Rolling Loud" festival in Inglewood from March 3-5. While the flyer mentions him playing on Friday at the opening night, he will instead be performing live on Saturday with the likes of Travis Scott. The special guest for this event is Lil Wayne.

A rather fitting tribute to his career trajectory is that he will be playing in the shadows of the SoFi Stadium, where NFL dreams are still being made. Never has football felt so close yet so far for him.

Antonio Brown slated to perform "Put that S**t on"

Based on his latest tweet, Antonio Brown will play his song "Put that S**t on" during the performance.

While he has been banished from the sporting world, his moves on stage are still influencing sportspeople across the globe.

An iconic dance step that became viral when he performed this song was replicated by players across the NFL and elsewhere. Nicknamed "Do Yo Dance," it caught the public's imagination by storm.

NFL players broke it out during training and live games. Players were seen breaking out the moves during celebrations.

NFL Insider Adam Schefter even joined in on the fun. Basketball players like Steph Curry busted out the moves after scoring on some plays. Even soccer players like Memphis Depay are seen to have gotten involved.

Whether or not there will be new viral moves, Antonio Brown will certainly grab a lot of attention during the festival next month. If he does go viral once more due to a bit that causes players to copy him, that could unfortunately be the extent to which he can currently influence matters on the football field.
