Jalen Ramsey is expected to be traded by the Los Angeles Rams in the coming weeks. The 2022 Super Bowl champs are looking to retool their roster and get back some draft capital in return.

Ramsey is still 28 years old and has many years ahead of him where he can give multiple All-Pro seasons. Multiple teams around the league are eager to get him and the Dallas Cowboys are among them. An NFL insider claims that America's team is worth keeping an eye on in Ramsey's sweepstakes.

As per Jeff Howe of the Athletic:

"All parties involved remain tight-lipped on the trade availability of Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey, but there’s a rumor picking up steam in league circles that the Cowboys would be a good fit.
"Pairing Ramsey with Trevon Diggs would certainly create one of the most fascinating cornerback combinations in the NFL."

The Dallas Cowboys already have one of the finest cornerbacks in the league in Trevon Diggs, and adding Ramsey would significantly improve their secondary.

The Cowboys possess a great defensive unit, but a player like Jalen Ramsey will certainly increase their chances of making it to the Super Bowl.

Jalen Ramsey represented Florida State University at the collegiate level and impressed many with his skillset. In three years at FSU, Ramsey played 31 games in which he had 181 tackles, 5.0 sacks, 22 pass deflections, four forced fumbles and three interceptions.

He was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the fifth overall pick in 2016 and has been a star since then. In 2019, he was traded to the Los Angeles Rams and the Jaguars received first-round picks in 2020 and 2021 and a 2021 fourth-rounder in return for Ramsey.

Ramsey is a six-time Pro Bowler and has been a member of All-Pro teams three times. His departure will certainly be hard to overcome for the Rams, but they need to get back some draft capital that they have spent over the years in order to win the Super Bowl.

Whichever team acquires Ramsey will be extremely fortunate, since he is still one of the finest DBs in the league. If he plays in the Cowboys' defense, he could have his best season yet, as their whole defense is significantly superior to that of the Rams.
