“B**tcheeks takes” – NFL uniforms ranking for 2023 sees fans go on the offensive

NFL uniforms can be the source of a big discussion between fans of the league. A user on Reddit created a list that ranked the 32 team uniforms. It didn't take long for the discussion to grow.

Fair to say that, like any discussion on the internet, most of them weren't pleased with the final results.

The user's ranking had the Los Angeles Chargers up top, classified as:

"Perfection. Great color scheme, logo, helmet, and number font. Excellent use of lightning bolts on the helmet, jersey and pants".

The Minnesota Vikings followed after.

"Purple and yellow never fails. The horns on the helmet are timeless, the number font is unique and fits the team, and the all white look with the purple helmet is beautiful".

One can't deny that the Vikings uniform is a thing of a beauty, and personally, they would be my number one.

Completing the top-three was the Cincinnati Bengals.

"They nailed their rebrand in 2021. Helmet is the best in the league, the number font is sharp, and the use of stripes on the helmet, jersey and pants is all done to perfection."

The worst-ranked team in the list was the Washington Commanders. While there was much discussion about the top, many users agreed with the bottom-ranked team.

"I don't hate the home uniforms, but the rest is a huge miss. The white uniforms don't match at all with the home uniforms, and I hate teams incorporating black for no reason so the all black look is terrible in my opinion. The number font is by far the worst in the league, not only because of the shape but the gradient."

When does the 2023 NFL season start?

The 2023 NFL Kickoff will be on September 7th, when the Kansas City Chiefs play against the Detroit Lions at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs will host the opening game due to being Super Bowl champions.

Most teams will start their NFL season on September 10th, apart from the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills. They will play on Monday Night Football on September 11th, in a game that should be emotional due to 9/11 tributes. It'll also be the first game for Aaron Rodgers with the Jets.
