Caleb Williams led the Chicago Bears to a dominating 35-16 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. The game saw the Bears put on a show in front of fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

In the win against the Jaguars, Williams threw for 226 yards, four touchdowns and an interception with a passer rating of 124.4. On the Pat McAfee Show, Bill Belichick praised the rookie quarterback and their coaching staff:

“That was a good defense to play against, but he’s done a good job protecting the ball. Better job not turning the ball over. Hopefully, he understands he doesn’t have to go out and score 45 points every week.
“They’ve done a good job there. Coach Eberflus and Shane have done a good job of letting Caleb do what he can do and not trying to do too much."

There was a lot of pressure on Matt Eberflus this season and had the Bears started the season poorly with Caleb Williams; he could have gotten fired. However, now that the franchise has won four of the first six games of the season while playing great football on both sides of the ball, Eberflus will likely keep his job.

The Bears' defense is allowing just 16.8 points and 180.0 passing yards per game to their opposition. Given how the team has improved every week, Chicago could very well be a contending team this season.

The Bears have a bye in Week 7, and after that, they will play against the Washington Commanders. It will be a battle between the first two overall picks of the 2024 NFL Draft and the top two players currently in the race to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.

Both Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels have played quite well so far, and the fans of both franchises are pleased with the team's decision to draft them.

Heading into Week 6, Daniels was the clear-cut favorite to win the OROY award, but Williams' performance against the Jaguars has put him in a good position to challenge the Commanders quarterback.

In six games this season, Williams has thrown for 1,317 yards, nine touchdowns and five interceptions, completing 65.3% of his passes. He has also rushed for 169 yards on 25 carries.

Daniels, meanwhile, has thrown for 1,404 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions with a completion percentage of 75.3. He has rushed for 322 yards and four touchdowns on 63 carries.
