Brett Favre has spent plenty of energy in courtrooms over the last couple of years in connection to his role in the Mississippi welfare scandal. However, the former quarterback hasn't only been on the defensive. He's gone after certain media members for portraying him in a negative light, including Shannon Sharpe and Pat McAfee.

McAfee has made a lot of jokes about the situation, but "Undisputed" host Sharpe appears to be willing to take the fight to Favre. According to Daniel Kaplan, Sharpe has filed a motion to move the lawsuit from state court to federal court.

Favre is alleging defamation, which is when someone believes their reputation has come under attack. The former quarterback could be hoping that taking down these big names in the media industry would quiet the avalanche of critics calling him out.
