Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are gearing up for a snowy and cold Christmas in Kansas City. While people will be enjoying themselves at home with loved ones and heat, some animals might suffer due to the harsh weather. In a recent tweet, Brittany called out anyone who might be abusing their pets or animals this winter.

The original news came through the Kansas City Pet Project, who were looking out for pets left outside in harsh conditions. This also includes pet owners who might be unaware of the problems their actions could cause.

Not everyone who leaves their pets outside might not know how bad it can get, and the KC Pet Project only wants to educate people accordingly.

Brittany tweeted specifically at those abusers who didn't care enough, referring to them as heartless.

"If you leave your dogs out in this weather you have NO HEART."

A pet owner herself, Brittany is always around to shower them with love. Her tweet seemed personal, with followers chiming in with support and empathy in the replies.

According to reports, the Pet Project is trying to minimize the worst that could happen, and maybe provide people with solutions. Tori Fugate, KC Pet Project's spokesperson, said:

“We’ve been giving out crates so that people, if they don’t have a place to put their animal, they can put their dog in a crate to keep them out of the elements."

How many dogs do Patrick and Brittany Mahomes have?

To those unaware, Patrick and Brittany have two dogs together: Silver and Steel. It's impossible to miss the two adorable pets on their social media accounts, also garnering a following of their own.

In fact, just like the rest of their family, Steel and Silver are just as famous on social media. Their dogs have a dedicated page of their own, which is updated quite often.

There was also some discourse over their daughter's name Sterling, especially as everyone noticed an alliteration with the family dogs. Brittany, however, insisted that she always wanted her daughter's name to be Sterling one day.

Fans are also accustomed to Sterling's photos with Silver and Steel, with the toddler always hanging out with their pets. Interestingly, the dogs walked ahead with pink paws to announce Sterling's gender at her gender reveal party.
