Stefon Diggs suffered an ACL injury during his first and only season with the Houston Texans. During Week 8 duel against the Indianapolis Colts, Diggs saw his season cut short due to one of the most serious injuries in sports. He finished the season with 47 receptions for 496 yards and three touchdowns.

The Texans struggled with injuries all season long, as they also missed Tank Dell to another season-ending injury and Nico Collins for a chunk of the campaign.

Chris Canty questions if Stefon Diggs-Cardi B off-field drama can hurt Patriots' image

In their second season post-Bill Belichick, the New England Patriots moved on from Jerod Mayo and brought in Mike Vrabel to try to start a new era. ESPN analyst Chris Canty pointed out that Stefon Diggs' recent off-field drama with Cardi B could hurt the values the Patriots are trying to reflect.

"For a franchise that's trying to turn the page on the Bill Belichick era, and rolling into this season with a second-year quarterback, having this tension where you have to question whether your star wide receiver reflects the values of the franchise and the program that new coach Mike Vrabel is trying to build just doesn't make any sense," Canty said.

For the worst of the best, Diggs could make the Patriots a relevant franchise after a poor 2024 season.
