Shortly after D'Onta Foreman was taken away from training camp in an ambulance, Zac Jackson, the Cleveland Browns reporter for The Athletic, shared that he was taken away in a helicopter for further treatment.
The Cleveland Browns then gave an update on running back D'Onta Foreman's injury after reports of him being carted off circulated on social media. According to the Browns' statement on X, he suffered a 'direct blow to the head' and then experienced pain in his neck.
"During practice today, Browns RB D'Onta Forman sustained a direct blow to the head that resulted in neck pain. The Browns athletic training staff deployed their standard emergency action procedures to immobilize Foreman," Browns stated.
"He was taken to an ambulance and is being transported via helicopter to a Medical Center in Roanoke, Virginia, to undergo further medical evaluation. Updates will be provided as more information is received."
