Caleb Williams is touted to be a future superstar for the Chicago Bears. The rookie QB has the talent, being a former Heisman winner with the USC Trojans. He also has the look - a young gun with a smile that can project itself for miles on end and painted nails, which is something of an anomaly in the traditionally hypermasculine league.
But if the first episode of the Bears' preseason edition of Hard Knocks is an indication, it is that some will be upset about such subversion of hypermasculinity. And there is another: a clip has emerged of Williams grabbing a Goyard bag, which is priced at $2,275 at Lightkuo, after a meeting with head coach Matt Eberflus.

Caleb Williams is taking growing pains very well, says Bears OC
As the Caleb Williams era continues to beckon, his offensive coordinator Shane Waldron is liking the progress that the first overall pick has made, even if not everything has been good - case in point being an interception he threw to safety Kevin Byard.
Speaking to the press on Wednesday, the offensive coach said:
"When you watch him go through his reads and his progressions right there, I think, going to where the ball should go is happening way more times than not. And some of the things that haven't worked out have been just from a near miss here or an angle that wasn't feeling it the right way there," Waldron said per NBC Sports Chicago.
He continued:
"But he's been doing a great job reading with his feet, sticking within progressions, recognizing coverage structures, so seeing all those things is what really gives you the confidence moving forward."
