Damar Hamlin's NFL Honors appearance was one of the most memorable moments of the night. Damar Hamlin is grateful for another chance

Along with fans, Hamlin himself was quite emotional at the NFL Honors ceremony. Many were moved to tears, happy about his recovery and believing in the power of miracles.

"First, I will like to just thank God for being here. Every day, I am amazed that my experiences could encourage so many others across the country and even across the world," Hamlin said. "Encourage to pray, encourage to spread love, and encourage to keep fighting no matter the circumstances.

He added:

"Sudden cardiac arrest was nothing I would have ever chosen to be a part of my story. But that's because sometimes our own visions are too small even when we think we are seeing the bigger picture. My vision was about playing in the NFL and being the best player that I could be".

Not only was Hamlin celebrated, but they also honored the medical professionals who saved his life. University of Cincinnati Medical Center doctors and the team's medical staff were on stage to receive a standing ovation before Hamlin walked in.
