Ward's talents were on full display at the collegiate level, and his competitive streak was never in doubt. That streak was on full display during a game of ping pong between him and Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley on Friday.

Ridley beat Ward in the game, and the star quarterback proceeded to break the ping pong paddle. That reaction got NFL fans talking,

"Definition of a toddler," a fan said.

Another stated, "Definition of being unable to control your emotions."
One added, "By Week 15, Tennessee’s locker room is gonna look like a rage room."

However, some comments were less critical of Ward.

One said, "Competition is on peak."

Another chipped in, "Bro was not having it either 😂."
One added, "Soft"

Cam Ward and Calvin Ridley are key to the Titans' success in the 2025 season and beyond. Ward is the franchise's quarterback of the present and future, while Ridley is the team's starting wide receiver.

Both offensive stars are working on building chemistry. Their bond will be crucial if the Titans are looking to elevate themselves from the bottom of the standings.

What's next for Cam Ward?

Cam Ward enters his rookie season competing with Will Levis for the Tennessee Titans' starting quarterback position. Levis has been the incumbent starter since Ryan Tannehill's decline in the 2023 regular season. However, it's increasingly likely that his days as the QB1 in Tennessee are done and dusted.

According to Sports Illustrated, Ward is showing out at mandatory minicamp as he threw a 50-yard touchdown at Titans practice during the week. Ward noticed a blitz before the snap and proceeded to find Calvin Ridley for a 50-yard zinger.

Ward is looking to get used to his new wide receiver room, which consists of Ridley, Tyler Lockett, Van Jefferson, Elic Ayomanor, Chimere Dike and Xavier Restrepo. If his performances in minicamp are anything to go by, then the Titans might have struck gold in his selection.
