It appears the Derek Carr era in Las Vegas is coming to a close. After being benched late in the season, the veteran quarterback is reportedly on his way out under Josh McDaniels.

Now, per TMZsports.com, the quarterback has gifted his Raiders teammates goodbye gifts. Carr has reportedly given Raiders players Max Crosby and Davante Adams diamond pennants that have been customized for the pair.

Who is the favorite to land Carr next season?

Talk about being a good friend.

Per the report by TMZ, Carr sought out Al The Jeweler from Labelle Jewelry in Totowa, NJ, for the pair's gifts and they did not disappoint. The pennants are Crosby and Adams' player numbers #98 and #17, and they look superb. Well, they should, given how much they would have likely cost the quarterback.

The pennants look incredible and it does indeed look like the veteran's reign as Raiders quarterback is coming to an end after nine years with the organization.

Derek Carr's future away from Las Vegas

The quarterback and Josh McDaniels just never really clicked. In a similar way in which Jon Gruden and the quarterback just seemed too different, this has an equivalent feel to it.

After nearly a decade with a team that has yielded just one playoff appearance (one game that was lost), the Raiders have decided to move on. This season in particular has been tough for the quarterback and the organization.

Losing the opening three games by one score and then having multiple injuries to key players in Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow meant the veteran quarterback never had a full supporting cast.

Now, with his future likely elsewhere, work could begin on his next NFL chapter. Luckily for him, he has a no-trade clause in his contract, so he can choose where to ply his trade next season.

A few things are for certain, it isn't in Las Vegas and his teammates will remember him fondly for his character and the expensive pennants he had designed for them.
