Before Travis Kelce began dating Taylor Swift in 2023, the Kansas City Chiefs star was in a relationship with Kayla Nicole. The couple was open about their ongoing romance, even turning heads as they called it quits.

In a podcast appearance with Angel Reese on "Unapologetically Angel" on Thursday, Nicole talked about her post-breakup dynamic with Kelce. While mentioning his new relationship with Taylor Swift, Nicole noted that there's no room for the two to talk or acknowledge each other due to his situation with the 'Blank Space' singer.

Taylor Swift fans (Swifties) reacted to Nicole's interview, questioning why Nicole was still discussing a relationship she had seemingly moved on from.

"This is such “pick me” energy. Taylor and Travis aren’t a “situation”, they’re in a relationship. It’s time to drop the bitter ex personality trait and move on," one fan said.

"It’s been years and if there was mutual respect, you wouldn’t be discussing him knowing he’s moved on," another fan said.

Nicole and Reese also discussed the hate the former received over her breakup with Travis Kelce. As per Nicole, she would be lying if she said the hate she received didn't affect her at all.

As per Nicole, people are still commenting on her posts and breaking down her career on Instagram. In fact, Nicole even tried to make sense as the hate piled on after parting ways with Travis Kelce.

"It has nothing to do with me. I think that there’s something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people."

Nicole defended herself, stating that she hasn't done anything to attract that level of hate. Travis Kelce and Nicole reportedly began dating in 2017, breaking up in 2022. Kelce and Swift have been dating since 2023.
