Ohio State Buckeyes offensive lineman Dawand Jones is one of the many college football players participating in the 2023 NFL Combine. Like most players, he will participate in many drills, while his official physical measurements will be determined.

All of this information assists scouts and team executives in analyzing each of the pro prospects ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft.

As an offensive lineman, the specific size of Dawand Jones is extremely important to how high he will be selected in the upcoming draft. Mass is required to effectively block the gigantic defensive lineman they will inevitably face off against when they eventually reach the NFL. His physical measurements were nothing less than impressive when they were officially announced.

Jones' official draft profile now has him listed at over 6'8" tall and 374 pounds. His hand measured more than 11.5 inches and his wingspan is just under 7'4" long. Each measurement is among the largest of any offensive lineman in attendance at the 2023 NFL Combine, making his overall size incredible.

While size isn't the only requirement to be a successful NFL offensive lineman, it will surely help.

Many NFL fans went on Twitter to comment on the jaw-dropping measurements, including some of these top tweets:

Trent Brown of the New England Patriots and Daniel Faalele of the Minnesota Vikings are the only active players listed as heavier than Dawand Jones. All three are listed as 6'8" tall, along with other players such as Orlando Brown of the Kansas City Chiefs and Calais Campbell of the Baltimore Ravens. No active NFL player was listed as taller than that for the 2022 NFL season.

Will Dawand Jones' massive size help his stock in the 2023 NFL Draft?

The most recent comparison can be made to Mekhi Becton prior to the 2020 NFL Draft. The massive offensive lineman was listed as 6'7" tall and weighing 364 pounds.

He was originally projected to be a mid-to-late first-rounder, but his size helped him get selected by the New York Jets with the 11th overall pick. Jones is even bigger than Becton, so he could potentially climb to the top half of the first round as well.
