Odell Beckham Jr. is still the subject of interest from multiple teams, and in a couple of weeks, we expect him to sign with a team. The Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants are seen as the frontrunners to land OBJ.

On Thanksgiving Day, the Cowboys defeated the Giants 28-20, and many believed they had gained an edge in the OBJ sweepstakes. However, former NFL player Rob Ninkovich believes the Cowboys would be better off without the star receiver.

Here's what Rob Ninkovich said about Odell Beckham Jr. on ESPN's Get up:

"I don't think the Cowboys need that, and listen, offensively, there's only so many possessions and there's only so many touches to go around. I get it, OBJ is a guy that you see as a polarizing figure who made a heck of a catch about 10 years ago."

Ninkovich added:

"I get he was great last year in the Superbowl, but he also hurt his knee. And it's the second time he hurt his knee. And that concerns me having to ACLs because I know from experience having torn my ACL that when you come back, you don't feel that great."

He continued:

"I don't think the Cowboys are going to get the benefits out of it from signing him. What the public and the outside fan base is going on is going to want to expect from a player like obj if they do sign him, so I don't think it's a great fit."

Odell is a star player that suits the Dallas Cowboys well, but this is a young team looking quite promising. The addition of OBJ could go either way for Dallas.

They do need a receiver, and last season, Odell Beckham Jr. showed he is still an impactful player, but the baggage that will come along with him might impact others.

Odell Beckham Jr.'s close friend Von Miller suffered a horrific injury against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day. The damage looked serious, and OBJ tweeted:

"God plz watch over @VonMiller !!! Place your hands over him Lord. I ask that it not be anything too serious. I love u brother prayin hard!"

The extent of Miller's injury is unknown, but he could be ruled out for the season. If he is ruled out this season, it would be a massive loss for the Buffalo Bills, who have dealt with many injuries this season.

Odell Beckham Jr. has also been linked with the Buffalo Bills, and everyone is eagerly waiting for his decision.
