Frank Gore pleads guilty for domestic violence case

Former San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore found himself in trouble over a brutal domestic violence case. Gore was apparently involved in an altercation last July at the Tropicana Casino’s Havana Tower in Atlantic City, New Jersey. As per reports and allegations, Gore dragged a naked woman by her hair.

In a recent report, TMZ revealed that Gore has cut a deal with the prosecutors. The Florida native will be pleading guilty, but for an ordinance violation. This is of course a way for Gore to finally end his domestic violence case.

Furthermore, Gore pled guilty for violating their public health nuisance code earlier this week. The court reportedly ordered him to pay fees and fines worth $2000. Overall, pleading guilty to an ordinance downplays his actual charge of assault.

However, no arrests were made at the time of the incident. Gore, while at the venue, pulled the 28-year-old woman in the 59th floor hallway by her hair while she was naked. When the police arrived, they did not find any signs of injury on the woman. As a result, no arrests were made.

Were other charges against Frank Gore dismissed?

According to TMZ, the false imprisonment charges against Gore have been dismissed. He was charged with simple assault only after the cops continued to investigate.

The State of New Jersey later released a criminal complaint, which stated that Gore assaulted the woman by 'attempting to cause bodily injury, specifically by forcibly gripping her with her hair and violently dragging a nude person along the floor. Furthermore, a court hearing was scheduled for last October.
