The Giants are having a nightmare of a season, and their latest loss against the Buccaneers has forced rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers to speak out. New York decided to make a change after last week's defeat and demoted starting quarterback Daniel Jones before cutting him altogether. Tommy DeVito got the starting nod with the hope that he would spark the ailing offense.

However, the situation did not improve as the Buccaneers blew them out 30-7 on the road. The Giants were completely toothless despite Malik Nabers not playing too badly. New York did not score any points in the first three quarters and Tommy DeVito was under pressure throughout the game. Their defense could not do much either as Tampa Bay scored all their points in that period. The fourth quarter saw the home team get their first points when the match was already beyond them.

Malik Nabers expressed his frustration with the situation saying,

“I know I’m tired of losing”

Malik Nabers calls the Giants 'soft' with Dexter Lawrence agreeing after Buccaneers loss

Malik Nabers used the word 'soft' to describe the Giants' loss against the Buccaneers. He was also frustrated with not getting targets in the first half and only being thrown to when the game was already gone. He said,

“I mean, it's just soft man. I'm tired of going out there and losing. It's just that. I mean, I don’t know bro. I go out there, first and second quarter, and I don’t get the ball and start getting targets at the end. I mean, I can’t do nothing.”

The wide receiver could not hide how he felt and when asked who he blamed for it declined to answer directly but pointed the reporters towards head coach Brian Daboll.

“(I) start getting the ball at 30-0 — what do you want me to do?., I don’t know. Talk to Dabes (coach Brian Daboll) about that.”

Malik Nabers was not the only one thinking about how soft the Giants were against the Buccaneers. Dexter Lawrence thought it applied to their side of the ball as well, as the defense did not give their new quarterback a chance, giving up points at will in the first three quarters.

Saying that he was extremely angry, the New York nose tackle said,

“We played soft and they (Tampa Bay) beat the sh*t out of us today.”

It does not look like getting rid of Daniel Jones has solved the Giants' issues as this 30-7 loss to the Buccaneers left them with a 2-9 record.
