Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert was one of the most talked about prospects entering the 2020 NFL Draft. While many were high on the quarterback's abilities, some were not. Seth Galina, a college football contributor for The Athletic who is also a quarterbacks coach, said back in 2020 that he didn't believe that Herbert could play.
He said that his throws were late and that he continued to miss some of his receivers and had limited accuracy. He went on to say that Herbert's way of playing was 'terrible':
"I don't think he can play. Honestly, he can't play. He's late on every throw. If he throws the ball to his first read, okay, it's fine I guess. But he's late on every throw. The stat our guys put on the other day, just looking at throws to just open receivers and he just misses them once every five throws. That's terrible."
Since being drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers with the sixth overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, the quarterback has led his team to success. After a 6-9 record in his rookie season, the Chargers were 9-8 last season and are currently 8-6 on the season. He has also become one of the youngest stars in the NFL and it appears that Galina's take back in 2020 wasn't exactly spot on.

The Los Angeles Chargers will play the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night. While the Chargers are favored to defeat the Colts, it is still a must-win for Los Angeles.
Heading into Monday night's game, the Chargers are currently holding a wildcard playoff spot. Their 8-6 record has them in the second wildcard spot behind the Jacksonville Jaguars. A win against the Colts would put the Chargers in the first wildcard position, essentially clinching a playoff spot.
After the New England Patriots and the Las Vegas Raiders both lost this weekend, it opened the door for Justin Herbert and the Chargers to clinch a playoff spot. This comes after the Chargers hit a rit mid-season but have picked things back up in the last few weeks.
The Miami Dolphins' four-game losing streak was also beneficial for the Chargers. Los Angeles held the tie-breaker over the Dolphins with a win just a few weeks ago. The Chargers now control their own destiny by clinching a win on Monday night.
