Aaron Rodgers is a soon-to-be New York Jet, and he was recently spotted working out with one of their newest wide receivers.

Rodgers' 'former' Packers teammate Allen Lazard signed a four-year $44 million deal with the New York Jets this off-season, a move many believe was to help persuade Rodgers to join the Jets.

Lazard posted pictures online of the two working out together, and the two seem to be having a fun time.

Pat McAfee mentioned the photos on the Pat McAfee Show and credits Rodgers for busting his a** this off-season with the new Jets wide receiver.

McAfee said:

"Working out right now, doing stuff physically. Not only is he working with his rocks and spiritually, emotionally, Not only is he watching the whales do their thing, he's busting his a*s with Allen Lazard. They're playing tag. Look how much fun they're having. Let's have fun playing football again is what Allen Lazard said and what Aaron said."

McAfee added that the two are preparing to play the best football of their careers as they await for a Rodgers deal to become official.

"And then they did their little handshake afterwards, and they do after throwing touchdowns to each other. And now they're just preparing to be the best football players they could possibly be for the New York Jets whenever a deal is done."

Here's a picture of Lazard and Rodgers working out and having fun together:

It's been almost a month since Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers announced that he intends on playing for the New York Jets this season.

The two teams are still figuring out compensation, but ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler said that a deal could be done on day 1 of the NFL Draft.

Rodgers will join his former teammate and wide receiver, Allen Lazard, and will be on a young offense with a lot of talent.

Along with his former teammate Lazard, he'll be throwing to the reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, Garrett Wilson, and newly acquired speedster wide receiver, Mecole Hardman.

Rodgers will also have two young and emerging running backs in the backfield in Breece Hall and Michael Williams.
