Those watching Monday Night Football when Damar Hamlin went down know what commentators Joe Buck and Troy Aikman were saying in response. However, until now, what was said between the medical staff in charge of saving his life was a mystery. Here's a look at what medical staff said on the call charged with saving the player's life, according to the New York Times:

"Go ahead and go over to the cot. I don't like how he went down. We're gonna need everybody — all call, all call. We need airway. Call, bring everybody. We need an airway doctor, everybody. Bring the cot with the medics."

Will the Buffalo Bills win a Super Bowl for Damar Hamlin?

Inside the article, a couple more exchanges were revealed. After calling for a cot and medics, someone responded about the availability of a monitor:

“We do have the other monitor with us.”

In response, the person asking for the cot and medics asked for CO2:

“I need an end-tidal CO2 now per the doc.”

The doctor asking for supplies went on to pressure the staff member to speed up.

“Yeah, you need to step it up.”

Later, two more discernable phrases were understood. Here's what they said:

“I need another medic in the back... We are right outside the gate."

Hamlin was eventually taken away in an ambulance to a local hospital, where he was sedated and remained alive but unresponsive for Monday night, Tuesday and most of Wednesday.

The safety awoke on Wednesday night and on Friday, he joined his first team meeting since the event. The Monday Night Football game, which had been suspended after the injury and remained in limbo, has been canceled as a no-contest.
