Mecole Hardman Jr. hasn't played much this season for the Kansas City Chiefs, but that didn't stop him from meeting the singing superstar Ciara. The Chiefs wideout met the wife of Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson as the Chiefs faced the Broncos in Week 17. Upon meeting Ciara, Hardman reacted like most people in his position would have.

The Kansas City receiver took to Twitter to share his reaction to meeting Ciara at the game:

"I met Ciara today and almost fainted."

For Hardman, Week 17 proved to be a great day as the Chiefs defeated the Broncos 27-24. Wilson put in a solid effort in the game, throwing for 222 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Wilson also scored two touchdowns on the ground. It marked the first time this season that the Broncos quarterback had a game with at least two rushing touchdowns.

However, Hardman's teammate, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was a step better. Mahomes threw for 328 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception. The win by the Kansas City Chiefs completed a sweep of the Broncos this season, defeating them in Week 14 in Denver.

Ciara has been a huge supporter of her husband since he joined the Broncos last offseason. However, it's been a rough season for her and other Broncos fans as they have a 4-12 record and are last in the AFC West.

It's been looking good for Hardman, as the Chiefs have one of the top records in the NFL at 12-3.

Did Mecole Hardman Jr. play versus the Broncos in Week 17?

Although he met Ciara, Mecole Hardman Jr. didn't play in the game against the Broncos. The receiver was placed on injured reserve back on November 8 of last year due to an abdomen muscle strain injury. He's played in eight games this season for the Chiefs.

The wideout has 25 receptions, 297 yards, and four touchdowns this season. In six career games versus the Broncos, Mecole Hardman has 15 receptions for 222 yards and a touchdown. As for his encounter with Ciara, it surely made the wideout "jump" all over.
