After months of speculation, Aaron Rodgers has finally arrived in Pittsburgh. However, it seems the four-time NFL MVP is having a hard time adjusting to a crucial piece of equipment in football.
Keeping player safety in mind, the NFL continuously updates its helmets. The league did so recently, but it appears A-Rod is not a fan. Last season, the veteran wore the now-banned Schutt Air XP Pro Q11 LTD. Besides Rodgers, Joe Flacco, Nick Folk, and Thomas Morstead were the only players to use this model.
Speaking to reporters during the mandatory minicamp on Thursday, Rodgers revealed that he cannot stand the new helmet, complaining about the Schutt being banned:

"I can’t stand the helmet. I’ve worn a Schutt for 20 years and somehow it finally didn’t pass the safety standard.” [H/T: NBC Sports]

Aaron Rodgers still has time to acclimate to the new helmet as he's currently only participating in individual practice drills during the ongoing OTAs.
A Steelers fan forgave Aaron Rodgers as he participated in his first minicamp with the team
Aaron Rodgers arrived at the Pittsburgh Steelers' minicamp on Thursday in style, driving a Range Rover. As the veteran was getting out of his car, a Steelers fan welcomed him with an emotional message.
ESPN's Steelers reporter Brooke Pryor described how a fan welcomed A-Rod at the team's training facility and forgave him for an incident that happened 14 years ago.
"Aaron Rodgers got here at 7:19 a.m. He pulled in the gates just behind me in a Range Rover. He got out and was wearing a turquoise hoodie, a trucker hat. And would you believe it, there was a fan out here with a megaphone who was greeting all of the players when they came in.
Pryor added:
"But he had a special message for Rodgers. He shouted at him, said, 'Hey man, you broke my heart in the Super Bowl, but I forgive you.' Pretty good start to the Rodgers tenure here in Pittsburgh."
The fan referenced the Super Bowl XLV game between the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rodgers was part of the Packers' squad that defeated the Steelers with a score of 31-25. This remains Rodgers' sole Super Bowl victory to date.
With the fans firmly behind him, it will be interesting to see how far the veteran QB takes the Steelers this year.
