Jared Verse is fresh off a Defensive Rookie of the Year campaign with the Los Angeles Rams. The linebacker was crucial to the Rams securing a playoff berth, and the front office will be pleased with their decision to select him with the No. 19 pick in the 2024 draft.
Jared Verse is a fierce competitor, and he reminded fans of his passion for the game by challenging Rams legend Aaron Donald to a workout session. Donald was up for the task and invited Verse to try his brutal workout challenge. Here's a clip of the Donald showing Verse exactly how he works out:

Following the session, Verse accepted defeat by posting a picture of himself and Donald with the following caption.

The Rams' linebacker would have learned a thing or two from the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Donald spent his entire professional football career with the Rams and helped the team win Super Bowl LVI.
Furthermore, Donald is known for his grueling workout regimes as evidenced by his peak fitness conditions during his storied NFL career. So, credit is due to Jared Verse for competing with him during his first offseason as a pro.
What's next for Jared Verse?
Jared Verse was ever present in his rookie season with the Los Angeles Rams, recording 66 tackles and 4.5 sacks in 17 regular-season games, helping the Rams to a playoff berth. Verse earned PFWA All-Rookie Team honors, a Pro Bowl nod, and the 2024 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Award for his efforts.
It's not the first time that the Rams are getting a Defensive Rookie of the Year Award winner, as a certain Aaron Donald won the award a decade ago. If Verse's career trajectory is anything like Donald's, then the Rams might have struck gold for the next decade.
Verse will look to build on the success of his rookie season in his second season with Sean McVay's side. He'll look to improve his sack total and contribute more in shutting down opposing offenses as the Rams aim for a deeper postseason run in 2025.
