Micah Parsons has been trending for the last couple of weeks. Given how sour things have become between him and the Dallas Cowboys, the pass rusher ended up getting traded to the Green Bay Packers right before the start of the season.Cowboys owner Jerry Jones suggested Parsons's contract friction was part of the negotiation proceedings, but they reached a tipping point, and now the Pro Bowler is haunting quarterbacks up north. After his first two weeks of play, he's recorded a couple of tackles and a sack. His new quarterback teammate, Jordan Love, is already feeling Parsons's impact and spoke to Kaylee Hartung about it on Thursday in an X clip by NFL on Prime Video."[He's had a] huge impact," he said. "A lot of energy, a lot of excitement. He's gonna make a lot of plays tonight."While Parsons already has his first sack and a few tackles as a Packer, he has yet to show up in stat categories like forced fumbles, fumble recoveries and interceptions. Nonetheless, there's no reason yet to believe that Green Bay made a mistake in trading for him. What did Micah Parsons say about his new life in Green Bay?Given how things ended in Dallas, Micah Parsons was thrilled to start a new chapter of his career in Green Bay. He described the end of his run with the Cowboys, saying:"[It was the] hardest four months of my life."He also mentioned the new locker room culture he finds himself in.“I've never been in a locker room with guys like this … I came in Tuesday for treatment, and I saw almost every guy in the locker room. … That just shows how much these guys wanna be here.”The Cowboys seem to be moving on smoothly without Parsons. In Week 1, they narrowly lost to the defending Super Bowl champs, the Philadelphia Eagles, 24-20.Meanwhile, the Packers are also doing fine with their new pass rusher on board. On Thursday Night Football, they beat the Washington Commanders 27-18 in Green Bay.
