Josh Allen announces engagement to Hailee Steinfeld after romantic seaside proposal

Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld are officially engaged. The relatively private couple, rarely seen in public, surprised fans and followers alike with their announcement. Allen's proposal, of course, was as good as a scene from a movie.

As per Allen's caption, the engagement seems to have taken place on Nov. 22.

"♾️ 11•22•24 ♾️" Allen added in his caption.

The response from fans and friends was instantaneous. Many fans were quick to wish the couple, some even hoping this would bring home another ring for the quarterback. Allen, who is leading the Bills to a 9-2 record, is a favorite to win the Super Bowl in 2024.

Paige Buechele, married to Bills backup QB Shane Buechele, seemed to be already aware of Allen's proposal.

"Still over the moon for you guys!!! Way to go [Josh Allen] 🥹 the world needs to see the tini proposal 🩷," Paige Buechele commented.

The proposal which Buechele claimed the world 'needs to see' was by the sea, with Allen getting down on one knee in front of a flower arch, and a path of candles and flowers already laid out for the Bumblebee actress.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence and the NFL also congratulated the couple.
