Kanye West has seen his billion-dollar net worth slashed to less than half in the blink of an eye due to his recent anti-Semitic remarks. During a Twitter beef with Sean "Diddy" Combs, West posted some objectionable content related to the Jewish community. This resulted in him subsequently being banned from multiple major social media channels and losing major endorsement deals.

While many have called out the rapper for his harsh words, a certain NFL journalist and podcaster seems to have a different opinion. Jason Whitlock recently took to Twitter to call out what he believes was unfair judgment meted out to West.

"There was zero risk to supporting Kaepernick. Zero. Only endorsement money and social media fame. It took no courage. The way black athletes have reacted to Kanye tells you everything you need to know about the distance between them and Muhammad Ali and Jim Brown. #Coward"

Whitlock seems to insinuate that supporting Kaepernick involved little risk for others and instead was beneficial for their social image. But with the rapper being canceled by certain groups, very few have dared to stay by his side.

It's also interesting to note how he draws parallels between modern day black athletes' reactions to the matter and compares them to sporting legends like Ali. As peculiar a take as it might be, Whitlock definitely got NFL fans debating.

Since taking the knee back in 2016, Kaepernick has garnered a lot of attention towards police brutality and violence in the United States. But it has also come at the cost of him being reportedly "blackballed" by NFL franchises.

Kaepernick has been pushing for an NFL return for years and even worked out with the Las Vegas Raiders in the offseason. But so far, nothing concrete in terms of a league return has come to fruition.

Kanye West still has Antonio Brown by his side

Despite many turning the cold-shoulder on Kanye West, former NFL player turned rapper Antonio Brown has been vocal in terms of his support for West. The former All-Pro wideout (who infamously walked out on his teammates) found himself allied with the rapper, who has since played a major role in Brown's record label ambitions.

Kanye had even named Brown as the President of Donda Sports earlier in the year. The former Buccaneers star made it known that he had no intention of stepping down.

Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald, though, decided to pull the plug on his deal with the sports agency less than a year into his contract. We will see what happens next in this ongoing controversy as it is highly unlikely that this is over yet.
