Justin Fields is slowly emerging as a star in the NFL, validating the prediction that dates back to his days at Ohio State. The Chicago Bears quarterback, despite limited talent around him, has elevated his game to the next level in his sophomore season in the NFL.

Moreover, Fields' story is quite inspirational. He dealt with seizures while he was young and feared it would cost him his career in football.

As per ESPN, here's what Justin Fields said about his journey fighting epilepsy when he was 15 years old:

"I was crying, because I didn't know how that would affect my football career, I THINK THEY tried to get all the kids out of the class when I was having it. They said I was foaming at the mouth and stuff like that."

Justin Fields added:

"When I did have them, it was just because I didn't take my medicine, There was one time I had one, I wanted to see if I grew out of it, because my mom grew out of it. So let me see if I did, too. But I don't even play with it now."

Fields overcame adversity and became a hero for many around the country. Dealing with such issues at a young age could have long-term effects, but the Bears quarterback has handled it well.

Fields now showcases his talent on the biggest stage. Hopefully, he will continue to excel and inspire many along the way.

Justin Fields is slowly proving to everyone that he is the best quarterback out of the 2021 NFL Draft Class. Although Trevor Lawrence is also playing well, Fields doesn't have a great supporting cast around him.

Fields has a passer rating of 86.2 for 1,642 yards, 13 touchdowns, and eight interceptions in 11 games this season. Moreover, he also has 834 rushing yards with seven rushing touchdowns.

It is expected that the Chicago Bears will go all in on draft and free agency next year to surround Fields with talent. If that comes to fruition, we could see him play even better.

The Bears have one of the worst offensive lines in the league, yet Fields has managed to stay afloat and showcase his skillset.
