Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons is the latest player to call out NFL officiating this season. While roughing the passer call has become a highly debatable topic, the Cowboys linebacker is looking for calls in favor of defensive players as well.

On Monday morning, Parsons took to Twitter to repost a video where the Jacksonville Jaguars fumbled the ball. The Cowboys linebacker recovered the football and was subsequently tackled by Jaguars players. With one player running and then landing on his neck.

Parsons Tweeted that while defensive players can't land on a quarterback, nobody is talking about the fact that an offensive player jumped on his neck after the play was essentially over.

"Still no one talking bout this guy jumping on my neck?! But yet we can’t land on a quarterback!"

The National Football League will likely discuss officiating and penalty calls this offseason as it has become a costly measure in many NFL games.

While that was a highlight for the Dallas Cowboys game during the Week 15 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. A late-game collapse took the game to overtime and then an eventual loss for Dallas.

The Cowboys still clinched a playoff spot with the loss by the Washington Commanders on Sunday night.

Will LB Micah Parsons win Defensive Player of the Year?

Dallas Cowboys second-year linebacker Micah Parsons had a standout rookie campaign that saw him win Rookie Defensive Player of the Year. His second year has been just as impressive and now he is in contention for Defensive Player of the Year. But he may have some tough competition from San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa.

The odds of Micah Parsons winning Defensive Player of the Year over Nick Bosa have increased.

In 14 games this season, the outside linebacker has 59 total tackles, 34 solo tackles, 13 sacks and three deflected passes. His total already matches that of the 16 games he played last season. Showing that he continues to flourish in Dan Quinn's defensive scheme.

As for his biggest competition, Nick Bosa has played 13 games so far this season with 41 total tackles, 30 solo tackles, 15.5 sacks and one pass deflected. He also matched his sack total from last season.

With three games remaining on the NFL schedule, it may come down to the stretch on who will win the coveted award.
