Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons is feeling confident after the team's 27-20 Thanksgiving Day game victory against their rival, the New York Giants, on Thursday. The Cowboys won their second-straight game and picked up a big victory against another NFC East opponent to improve to 5-7 on the season.

Following his team's win, Parsons dropped a simple three-word Tweet, showing his confidence in his team's ability to make a late-season run.

Parsons Tweeted:

"We ain’t done."

Parsons played a big part in the team's win. He had three tackles, 1.5 sacks, four pass deflections, and six quarterback hurries in the win. For his efforts, he was named the Madden Thanksgiving MVP.

Micah Parsons' Tweet refers to the Cowboys not being out of the playoffs quite yet. He's technically right.

While it is good to display the confidence in hopes of making a playoff run, it will be very tough for Dallas to pull it off. At 5-7, the Cowboys are currently not a playoff team in the NFC. Even after their Thanksgiving win, their playoff probability per NFL.com stands at 4%.

The Cowboys currently hold the No. 12 seed out of 16 in the NFC with just the top eight seeds qualifying for the playoffs. The Cowboys will face the Washington Commanders and the Philadelphia Eagles once more this season as well as the Cincinnati Bengals, Carolina Panthers, and Tamp Bay Buccaneers.

Micah Parsons warns that Cowboys are 'coming'

Before being awarded the Madden MVP trophy, Micah Parsons talked about his belief that the Cowboys were capable of making a run to the postseason during his postgame interview.

"We know what we got. We know what we can do here," Parsons told Fox's Erin Andrews. "I believe we're gonna turn it around and make a run. There's been a lot of trash talk out there, talking about, 'What difference can we make?'... I'm telling y'all right now, we're coming," Parsons said.

Micah Parsons is one of the best linebackers/edge rushers in the NFL, that's no question. Since being drafted in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Parsons has been named to three Pro Bowls and is a three-time All-Pro.

Parsons also has 47 sacks, 241 tackles, eight forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, and nine pass deflections in his career.

With just 6.5 sacks and 28 total tackles through eight games, he is on pace to have his least productive season as a pro. He will need to ramp up his performance significantly in the last stretch of the season for the Cowboys to stand any chance of making the playoffs.
