Micah Parsons was the star of the Dallas Cowboys' annual Thanksgiving afternoon matchup. The Cowboys won their second straight game, this time a divisional win against the New York Giants on Thursday.
Since his return from injury, the edge rusher has been absolutely electric for the Dallas Cowboys defense. Parsons has 23 pressures along with 11 hurries, eight sacks, seven stops and four quarterback hits. He reshared the post, documenting those stats on X on Friday morning and fired back at critics with his thoughts.
Parsons insinuated that those stats prove that he can still be a great player in the National Football League while also hosting a podcast.
"Almost like I can play football and operate a podcast ?!" Parsons wrote on X.
The Dallas Cowboys star hosts a weekly podcast called "The Edge with Micah Parsons" that debuts a new episode each week. Some on social media have questioned whether hosting a podcast interferes with his ability to stay focused on the field.

Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons was awarded the "Madden MVP" award for his efforts in the Thanksgiving Day win. Parsons finished the day with three tackles, one and a half sacks, and four quarterback hits against the New York Giants. This was the first win at home for the Dallas Cowboys and it couldn't have come at a better time than the annual Thanksgiving game.
After FOX sideline reporter Erin Andrews presented him with the MVP Award, she asked the 25-year-old about the Dallas Cowboys' efforts and not giving up despite their tough season. He responded that the team's mentality revolves around "why not?"
"Why not us?" Parsons told Erin Andrews of the Cowboys' mentality.
The Dallas Cowboys are now 5-7 after securing two consecutive wins and will next face the Cincinnati Bengals at home on Dec. 9. The Bengals are in a similar situation, as they were also expected to be an AFC contender this season.
