Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs have been through thick and thin together, spending nearly their whole NFL careers side by side. The cornerback joined the Cowboys in 2020, and the linebacker followed suit the following year. Their bond on the field is as strong as off of it.

Parsons recently opened up about supporting Diggs in his rehab journey. He suffered a season-ending knee injury last year and had to undergo surgery to repair it. While Diggs is known for not showing much emotion, he wrote a note for Parsons on his birthday, saying how much he appreciated his support.

"I think it's extremely difficult for Diggs," Parsons said on Wednesday. "I told him, 'I'm here to strictly support you and be there for you throughout your time.'
"And so, just throughout that process, just seeing where he's at and just saying his mental, I think at the end, he kind of wrote me a message for my birthday, and he didn't tell me in person, but he wrote me how much he appreciated that I came out there and uplifted him, man."

Parsons added what it meant to him.

"So, you know, and he don't really show a lot of emotion," Parsons said.
"It's hard to get more than a couple words out of him, so just to get that message from it meant a lot for me, just as a friend. So, you know, I'm happy that he's in a bright spot. He's doing better, and I'm just hoping he has the year that he wants to it's just not me telling him, You gotta kick it to overdrive. Now I said no more excuses."

Trevon Diggs attended the Cowboys' minicamp

While Trevon Diggs is still on the road to recovery, he was at Dallas' recent minicamp. Cowbos coach Brian Schottenheimer provided an injury update on him. He said that while there is no timeline for Diggs' return, all signs are positive and he could be back on the gridiron soon.

"It's going good. I talked to Trevon last week," Schottenheimer said on Tuesday, via Cowboys.com. "He's down in Miami doing some training. No timeline for his return. But he had to come back a couple weeks ago to get checked out by the doc. All signs are positive."

Schottenheimer's words likely gave Cowboys' fans hope as they can't wait to see Diggs return to the field next season.
