NFL fans were stunned by Daniel Jones' numbers in the New York Giants' 28-6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The game was pivotal for Jones' future as there were questions about his future in New York.

Jones finished the game going 22-for-42 for 186 yards and two interceptions. After the game, NFL reporter Josh Dublow posted on X that since signing his four-year $160 million contract with the Giants, Jones has thrown more TD passes to the opposition (3 pick 6s) than to his team (2 TD passes).

NFL fans were stunned by the stat and found it hard to believe.

"Insane when you break it down this way. He played 6 games last season (5 full games and got hurt in another) and 1 game this year. So in 7 games, he has 2 TDs and 8 Interceptions. The fact Daboll and Schoen know this and still can’t go in a different direction is wild!!!" a fan tweeted.
"Might be the craziest stat I’ve ever seen in my life," a fan tweeted.

Jones has struggled to be the franchise quarterback the Giants thought he would be.

"I hope he has invested well because i wouldn't bet on him getting another contract, even to be a backup," a fan tweeted.
"Daboll made Josh or Josh made Daboll. I know that answer," a fan tweeted.

It was another disastrous game for Jones and the Giants, as the future of the QB and coach Brian Daboll is now in the air.

"They need to clean house too this coaching staff is awful. Daboll is the most over rated play caller, yesterday was a joke. Fire him and get a new QB," a fan tweeted.
"Most overpaid QB in football," a fan tweeted.

Daniel Jones booed after Giants' loss

The New York Giants suffered a blowout 28-6 loss to Minnesota at home in a game the Giants had just 240 total yards on 11 drives.

After the Giants' blowout loss, fans waited for Jones to leave the stadium and booed him.

After the game, Jones took the blame for the loss as he was critical of his performance.

"Obviously not good enough," Jones said of his performance after the loss, via Fox News. "Didn't get in the end zone, scored six points. Didn't create much rhythm and flow for ourselves. I've got to be better, certainly got to play better, give ourselves more chances to make plays and execute more consistently."

Jones and the Giants will go on the road to play the Washington Commanders in Week 2.
