Tom Brady and Mike Evans have built great chemistry with each other since Brady's arrival in Tampa Bay. The receiver was prolific even without Brady, but the former New England Patriots quarterback has helped elevate his game even further.

Mike Evans knows a lot about Brady's greatness, but he wasn't a fan when he was growing up. In a recent podcast with Buffalo Bills star player Von Miller, Evans discussed Brady and his childhood. Here's what he said:

"He's such a down to earth guy like like you said. Growing up, I didn't like him, when I was a kid because I was a Peyton Manning fan. Most people know that by now. "

Evans continued:

"But, you know when you're a kid, you're naive. You don't really understand. But you know what? I definitely when I went to high school and in college, you know, I definitely respected his greatness."

Many players in the NFL must face the challenge of rooting for either Peyton Manning or Tom Brady while growing up, and Mike Evans was one of them.

Everyone knows both Brady and Manning are/were great football players and their impact on this game will be remembered forever. The current generation also has some interesting rivalries brewing up and everyone hopes that they will live up similarly to the rivalry between Brady and Manning.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers currently sit at the top of the NFC South, but they haven't played well this season. Both Tom Brady and Mike Evans know that they need to be better if they want to reach the Super Bowl.

The NFC as a whole is quite wide open and it wouldn't be a surprise if inexperienced quarterbacks fail to perform in the playoffs. Brady would love to take advantage of that.

Evans and Brady have been critical to the Buccaneers' success and are getting better every week. The Buccaneers will be a dark-horse contender to win the NFC this season, and it will be interesting to see how the duo perform down the stretch in big games.
