Unlike most other sporting events, Super Bowl LVII brought together people with different interests to share the same experience. For some, learning who gets the Super Bowl ring was the primary source of entertainment. For others, the commercials revealing multiple summer blockbusters brought them to the television.

One big reason to tune in to the Super Bowl was to see music superstar Rihanna make her return to singing live for the first time in years. Another music star took to Instagram to applaud and cheer on the singer.

You can check out the Instagram stories here:

Russell Wilson's wife Ciara posted a picture of the singer in her performance outfit with the caption:

"Congratulations @badgalriri Mommas can do it all!"

Ciara is a mother of three children herself. During the Super Bowl halftime show, many were surprised to learn that Rihanna was pregnant while giving the performance. Rihanna essentially performed solo on a series of platforms that rose and lowered onto the main stage. She performed many of her various hits over the years.

In Ciara's next Super Bowl story, she posted a picture with Damar Hamlin and tagged him in the photo with the caption: "Proud of you."

Why did Ciara profess that she was "proud" of Damar Hamlin shortly after Super Bowl LVII?

Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest during the regular-season finale of Monday Night Football. After delivering a hit to Bengals receiver Tee Higgins, the Bills safety collapsed. Medical staff immediately tended to him and at one point, CPR was administered.

The safety was taken away by ambulance as tens of thousands watched live in shock and millions more watched on television. Commentators Joe Buck and Troy Aikman were stunned as they attempted to make sense of what they were seeing live on-air.

Over the next week, fears about the safety's health were a constant source of online discussion and donations. Fans demonstrated their prayers financially as they donated to the safety's online toy drive fundraiser, annihilating his $2,500 goal with millions of dollars.

Since then, the safety has gone on to regain consciousness and was eventually cleared to return home. Now a nationally known name, seemingly every star has reached out to No. 3, including Russell Wilson's wife. The week after the injury, the league organized demonstrations at various games across the country to show their support.

Russell Wilson, who also wears the number three, met Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen at midfield before the two teams squared off in the season finale. Both teams agreed to decline the delay of game penalty to allow the tribute to take place.
